ENGLISH CAMP FOR TEENAGERS 11 -18 YEARS OLD

This is a fantastic all-inclusive package for teenagers to learn English and to have fun in the sun too!
Students stay for a minimum two-week period at the campus on a full-board basis. It is a great opportunity for young people to make new friends, develop excellent learning skills and to exchange information about other countries using a common language of communication.
Students attend 20 lessons of 50 minutes of English each week. Lessons are in mixed- nationality groups of maximum 15 students but usually less than 15. After breakfast, students go to class which starts at 9 am in the morning and there are 4 lessons a day till 1pm. There are 2 breaks of 15-20 minutes. The emphasis is on conversational English to develop communication skills even during the breaks.
Teenagers 15+ have also the possibility to book 20 IELTS exam preparation lessons per week instead of General English.
We have also developed and created unforgettable activity program with excursions. Students will have the time of their lives with us! Since the language of the school is English, all our fantastic activities are conducted in English too, so learning goes on both in the classroom and outside with fantastic wide range of unforgettable free activities or performances.

DAY CAMP
For children who do not stay at the student accommodation camp but in other hotels with their parents, we offer the possibility to join one of our summer day camps .This includes English lessons in the morning and for activities in the afternoon. Teenagers can join in some of our evening activities, too. Children receive a hot lunch from Monday to Friday with children from ESSC School at each campus. They may also have the evening meal, for an extra cost. Teenagers can also join our weekend excursions (pack lunch is not provided for this option).

Sobre a escola: 
A English Sunny School de Chipre foi fundada em 2000 e foi a primeira escola internacional de verão em Chipre. Nossa escola tem oferecido excelentes cursos de inglês para estudantes internacionais em Chipre há mais 22 anos. Além disso, a English Sunny School of Cyprus é um departamento internacional para estudantes estrangeiros do Instituto Particular Xenia Tsolaki Metaxa, aprovado pela Organização de Turismo de Chipre e credenciado pela associação ELSAC.
Todos os professores nativos de inglês são qualificados e têm muita experiência no ensino de cursos de nacionalidade mista. Eles são capazes de aproveitar ao máximo o potencial intercultural de seus alunos e incentivam a cooperação e a comunicação. As nacionalidades são variadas, de modo que a interação na aula é sempre em inglês. A ideia da escola se baseia no conceito de que as aulas podem ser divertidas e interessantes tanto quando são dinâmicas e educativas.

Localização:
Desde 2015, temos o prazer de fornecer aulas em nossas novas instalações escolares. A escola fica a no máximo 15 minutos a pé do alojamento estudantil. Os adolescentes caminham juntos para a escola, mas os mais jovens recebem transporte. Ao lado do local da escola, há uma loja com lanches. A praia fica a apenas 5 minutos de distância.

Salas de aula:
As salas de aula são todas climatizadas e têm acesso a wi-fi quando as aulas envolverem o uso da internet e a criação de projetos. Frequentemente, os alunos são solicitados a criar seus próprios projetos e apresentações em grupos para desenvolver suas habilidades de trabalho em equipe.
Os adultos têm aulas em grupos de no máximo 12 alunos, jovens de 6 a 11 anos têm aulas em mini grupos de 4 a 8 alunos e os adolescentes, tem entre 11 e 15 alunos por turma.

Pacote de boas vindas:
Os alunos recebem cadernos e canetas da nossa empresa para fazer anotações em aula e com planilhas de atividades que são colocadas em arquivos. Cada aluno, portanto, tem seu próprio registro pessoal de sua estada na escola.

Primeiro dia e último dia:
Os alunos fazem um teste de nivalemento logo após chegarem e são alocados nas aulas de acordo com seu nível. Todos os alunos fazem um teste no final da sua estadia e recebem um certificado com o seu grau de escolaridade.

Calendário:
Aulas da manhã para crianças, adolescentes e adultos: 20 aulas por semana de 50 minutos (e não de 45 como muitas outras escolas, isso faz com que os alunos tenham 100 minutos extras por semana!)
Das 9:00 às 12:50 com 2 pausas.

Localização da escola

Este lugar também está localizado na principal rota de ônibus para a cidade velha e para o shopping. Perto dali, há um agradável calçadão para pedestres e ciclovia que percorre todo o caminho até a marina. É um lugar fantástico para uma longa caminhada ao longo da costa para tirar algumas fotos inesquecíveis.

The lessons were intense, progressive and adapted to my needs.
Very good contacts white Claire Baker, in charge of the courses.
I especially progressed in liesteningand understanding.
I have continue because we do not work miracles in 3 weeks.

I regret not having had the opportunity to take a group course.: This would have allowed me other exchanges.
Difficulty to immerse in Limassol because the Russian language is too present.

Thanks to the school it was possible tin the afternoon to do kite surfing for me pleasure.

I reached my 2 challenges : progress in English and begin in kite surfing.

THE ESSC CAMPUS

The ESSC campus is located in the Moniatis Hotel,

which is situated in a beautiful area of Limassol, close to the Yermasoyia Dam and river. It is in a quiet, residential area of Yermasoyia with a wide variety of amenities nearby – local supermarket, bakery, restaurants, coffee shop, pharmacy and mini football fields. It is a family owned and run hotel and the staff are intent on providing the best service that this 3 star accommodation can offer.

ROOMS

The rooms are twin and triple with comfortable extra beds. In the hotel, there are 4 family rooms which have one bedroom, a living room, one bathroom and 2 toilets so they can accommodate up to 4 students. All rooms have air-conditioning and a balcony. The hotel has two floors with access between floors by stairs or lift. Single rooms are available on request for an extra charge.

PUBLIC AREAS

The reception area is staffed 24/7 and there is a snack bar which serves drink and snacks throughout the day. Outside, there is the hotel swimming pool and a small paddling pool for young children. Around the pool there is an area for sun bathing and a large green area for games and relaxing.

MEALS

Students eat their breakfast and evening meal at the hotel. They have a hot lunch at the school from Monday to Friday, after classes and before the start of the afternoon activities. During the excursions, they will be provided with a packed lunch and on Sunday lunch will be served at the hotel.

For breakfast there is a typical English buffet with bacon, sausage, eggs, mushrooms, baked beans, bread, yogurt, butter, marmalade, halloumi, cheese, ham and turkey as well as other hot and cold food and drinks.

Supper is a buffet service and there is a wide variety of international and local dishes. There are salads, 3 main courses (meat and fish) with 3 accompanying dishes and a sweet dessert or fresh fruits.

Special diets can be catered for by requesting at the time of booking and also by contacting our staff in resort.
