The minimum duration for a standard or intensive language course is usually one week, but students benefit most after the 3rd or 4th week of their language course— after they’ve had a chance to get used to their environment. By this time, students have usually settled-in and have become comfortable with their surroundings. This is when they are able to really focus on language learning. Our average student at Language International takes about 8 weeks of language studies abroad.
